Doorstep Local ("we", "us") is a sole-trader business based in Berkshire, UK, providing shared postcard advertising to local businesses. For any privacy query, contact hello@doorsteplocal.co.uk.
When you enquire or book a slot we collect the details you provide — business name, your name, email, phone, chosen category and area, and any message. If you become an advertiser we also hold booking, proof and payment records. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
We use your data only to respond to your enquiry, confirm and deliver your advertising, send proofs and invoices, and keep records required for tax and accounting. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in running the service.
We never sell your data. We share it only with the suppliers needed to deliver your booking — for example our print partner, Royal Mail, and Stripe — and where required by law.
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Financial records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email hello@doorsteplocal.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
This site uses only essential local storage to remember a demo enquiry during your visit. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
