Last updated 23 July 2026. These terms apply to advertising slots bought from Doorstep Local.
We sell exclusive advertising slots on a shared postcard mailed to homes in your chosen Berkshire postcodes via Royal Mail Door to Door. Only one business per category appears on each card. Slot sizes and prices are shown on our pricing page and are ex-VAT.
A slot is reserved once you confirm your category and area and payment is received. Payment is taken up front via Stripe. Prices quoted are per slot on a single card run unless stated otherwise.
You supply your logo, copy and any images, or ask us to design your ad. We email a proof for approval before print. You are responsible for checking your proof is correct; once approved and sent to print, changes are not possible for that run.
You confirm you have the right to use the material you supply and that your advertising is lawful, accurate and not misleading, in line with the UK CAP Code. We may decline or remove any ad we reasonably consider unsuitable.
Distribution is carried out by Royal Mail Door to Door. Mailing dates are estimates and may shift for print or postal reasons. Royal Mail does not guarantee delivery to every individual household, and we cannot be held responsible for their operational performance.
You may cancel before your proof is approved for a full refund less any design work already done. After proof approval the slot is committed to print and is non-refundable.
Our liability for any card run is limited to the amount you paid for your slot. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the volume of enquiries your ad generates.
